Karenni forces claimed they shot down a MAF aircraft in Ywar Thit, Bawlakhe on 30 June 2023.
Some pro-SAC channels acknowledged that the aircraft had crashed, but said that it was due to bad weather, stating that two pilots were still missing.
Myanmar Witness geolocated the crash site using drone footage posted on 5 July 2023.
