On 23 February 2023, there were claims of several attacks (air and ground) in the Ayadaw area, around the village of Ma Le Thar. It is alleged that airstrikes, carried out by a Mi-35 helicopter, resulted in damage to a local high school and hospital. Footage also depicted fire damage to medical facility, but Myanmar Witness was unable to verify the time of this incident.
