Thantlang town in Chin has experienced fires on multiple dates. This is a series about the burning of villages - in part or in their entirety - in Myanmar. Fortunately, this is the only example to date of the near-total destruction of an entire town.

The satellite imagery in the picture reveals fire destruction over the last two years. You can use the coordinates on Google Earth Pro to see historical imagery of Thantlang before it was burnt, and the updated satellite imagery showing the after-effects.
