Four civilians found dead, three of them alleged to display signs of mutilation

Four civilians from Lel Ngauk, Yinmarbin township, were reportedly found dead on 16 August 2023.

Myanmar Witness geolocated and confirmed the location using satellite imagery.

Khit Thit Media reported that three bodies recovered from Myauk Yamar Creek displayed signs of mutilation. Local media claimed all four individuals suffered stab and gunshot wounds after being arrested by SAC troops on 10 August.
