11 people were reportedly killed and buildings were burned in the attack by SAC and Pyu Saw Htee forces

SAC and Pyu Saw Htee forces allegedly raided Kya Paing village, Monywa, Sagaing on the morning of 02 December 2023, before setting fire to multiple buildings.

11 civilians were reportedly killed in the attack.

Myanmar Witness geolocated footage of the burnt buildings and found FIRMS data matching the reported date of the incident.
